I am the original owner of this Carvin bolt guitar. Made in USA. The guitar has a select alder 2-piece body joined in the center, and it is very lightweight for alder. It is very resonant and the tone is awesome. The neck is tung oiled maple with a 22 fret ebony fretboard. The pickups are Carvin AP11 classic single coils with fully adjustable polepieces. They sound great and are powerful pickups. Pearl Blue finish. Steel bridge saddles. String ferrules in back of body like a Telecaster gives tuning stability and makes the guitar very loud acoustically. Two-position toggle switch engages the bridge pickup adding two extra sounds to the standard five strat pickup position sounds.
$425 for the guitar and a black Carvin gigbag. This guitar has a slightly slimmer body than a Fender Stratocaster and it's quite comfortable when I play it on a strap standing up. A great lightweight guitar for playing when you have to stand for long periods of time.
